Youth, though is the largest segment of the population, are still unemployed in large number and they can contribute significantly to the economic development through developing self-entrepreneurship rather than hankering after a small job here and there.
Mosleh Uddin Masud, a young, promising and rising businessman of the country made this view.
He said business plays biggest role in graduating the country to middle income status and in the way of becoming a developed nation in the near future.
“After completion of my education I did not try to get any job rather I started a business in 2008 with a capital of only Tk 17,500, being inspired with the spirit of creating self-employment”, Masud added.
“I had to face a lot of hurdles and contrary situation in the way of establishing my business, but I was determined to overcome them with courage and by applying honesty and perseverance,” he pointed out.
Hailing from a respective Muslim family of Daulatkhan upazila in Bhola district, Musleh Uddin Masud started business opening a buying house named ‘FN Communication.’
He used to hold a progressive socio-political spirit that encouraged him to be engaged with politics since his student life.
He became joint general secretary of central committee of Bangladesh Chhatra Union and became convener of Soniakhra Pani-Biddut Songram Committee, Worthy son of his late father Shakandar Ali and late mother Fazilatunnesa, Masud did his masters degree in political science under the National University.
The journey of his company is moving forward steadily and at the same time it has been contributing enormously to the economic growth. Creating job opportunity for many young and energetic boys and girls is another big success of the company.
